Abstract
The intention of this presentation is to provide the participants with a clear understanding of how to manage fetal surveillance. Danat Al Emarat Hospital has successfully established an active innovative fetal surveillance series which is conducted monthly with the aim to support maternity clinicians on their skills in quick recognition, accurate interpretation skills and action plans that improve outcomes.
This presentation will describe the skills set in recognition, escalation, and interpretation and with clear timely actions plans.
The presentation will aim to knowledge share and highlight the different processes put into place for fetal surveillance, which is innovative and creative whilst knowledge sharing valuable information.
Biography
Midwife Saloua El Azzabi is a registered midwife and nurse manager. She is currently the leads the PROMPT course for obstetric emergencies and also the fetal surveillance series. She is also the facilitator for the documentation council working towards pathways to excellence accreditation.
Saloua is passionate about maternity care and is extremely supportive in education and ensuring patient safety comes first.
