Abstract

Intracranial Epidermoid cyst is a rare variant of benign brain tumors. Rarely, they present with psychiatric symptoms as their only manifestation. This report describes a case of Epidermoid cyst presenting with mental sub-normalcy, seizures and psychotic symptoms in a young female.
There is dearth of research on the occurrence, clinical implications and prognosis of this entity.
This poster presents one such case, highlighting the importance of ruling out an organic etiology in cases presenting with psychiatric complaints.
