Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

At ConferenceMinds Journal, we are dedicated to upholding the highest ethical standards in publishing. Our commitment to ethical practices ensures the quality and integrity of scientific publications. We are proud to be a member of the International Committee of Medical Journals and adhere to their guidelines and principles.

Article Evaluation

Every manuscript submitted to ConferenceMinds Journal undergoes a rigorous peer review process. Our goal is to maintain the highest standards of academic excellence. If a manuscript is approved by the editor, it is reviewed by anonymous peer experts. In cases where ethical, security, biosecurity, or societal implications are significant, our Research Integrity team may seek external advice. This could include consulting experts and academic editors to ensure appropriate actions are taken, such as involving specialized reviewers or additional editorial assessments.

Plagiarism

We maintain a strict policy against plagiarism. Authors are required to give proper credit to the work of others. This includes citing sources and avoiding excessive verbatim text reuse. Manuscripts found to be plagiarized, whether from published or unpublished sources, will be rejected, and authors may face sanctions. We also expect authors to appropriately attribute and cite their own previously published work when using it as a basis for a new submission.

Duplicate Submissions and Redundant Publication

ConferenceMinds Journal only considers original content that has not been published elsewhere, including in languages other than English. We do accept manuscripts based on content that has been shared on preprint servers, institutional archives, or theses. However, authors must not simultaneously submit the same work to other journals and must withdraw submissions before doing so. Failure to comply with this policy may result in sanctions.

Citation Manipulation

Authors are expected to use references for their scholarly merit rather than artificially inflating citation counts. Editors and reviewers should refrain from requesting references solely to boost the number of citations to their own work or a particular journal.

Fabrication and Falsification

We have a zero-tolerance policy for fabricated or falsified results, including image manipulation. Authors found to have engaged in such practices may face sanctions, and published articles may be retracted.

Authorship and Acknowledgments

All listed authors must have made a significant scientific contribution to the research, endorsed its claims, and agreed to be authors. Author contributions can be described at the end of the submission. Changes in authorship must be declared and agreed upon by all authors. Individuals who contributed to the research or manuscript but do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged with their permission.

Conflicts of Interest

We require full disclosure of conflicts of interest that could affect the neutrality or objectivity of the work at any stage in the research process. Undeclared conflicts may lead to sanctions, and undisclosed conflicts may result in the rejection of submissions. If conflicts of interest are discovered after publication, appropriate actions will be taken, such as corrections or retractions.

Sanctions

ConferenceMinds Journal reserves the right to apply sanctions in cases of ethical breaches. Sanctions may include rejection of the manuscript, a temporary submission ban, or prohibition from acting as an editor or reviewer.

Investigations

We take suspected breaches of publication ethics or research ethics seriously. Claims will be treated confidentially, and investigations may involve requesting underlying data, consulting with editors, or contacting relevant institutions or employers.

Corrections and Retractions

In cases of errors in published articles, we will consider appropriate action, including publishing corrigenda or retractions when necessary.
